GreenBrain vs Jobber
What each one costs, and what GreenBrain can and can’t do today, so you can decide.
The short version
Jobber is an established field-service platform for home-service businesses, with paid plans from $29 a month for one user (billed annually). GreenBrain is a newer browser app built for owner-run landscaping businesses, free during its beta. If you need crew logins, texting, or QuickBooks sync today, GreenBrain doesn’t have them yet.

What GreenBrain does today
- Clients and properties: contact details, multiple addresses, per-property pricing, notes, and history.
- Scheduling: one-time and recurring work, route planning, job close-outs, and rain delays you can undo.
- Billing: draft invoices (per visit or monthly), quotes, expenses, receipts, sales-tax reports, and payment records. Invoices stay drafts until you send them.
- Getting paid: record cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, or card payments. Private client portals can take card payments through Stripe once online payments are approved for your workspace.
- Email: invoices, quotes, and reminders by email, with delivery and bounce tracking.
- Questions in plain English: ask about your business, or type or dictate a request. GreenBrain asks you to confirm before it sends anything or records money. AI answers can be wrong, so check them.
- Website leads: an embeddable quote-request form for your own website.
What GreenBrain doesn’t do yet
- Crew or team logins you can set up yourself, and payroll.
- Texting for most businesses. You send by email until texting launches for your workspace.
- QuickBooks sync or export. Reports export as CSV files.
- App Store or Google Play apps. GreenBrain runs in your phone or computer’s web browser.
- Automatic GPS tracking. A vehicle-tracker pilot runs only in the founder’s own business.
- Moving job or invoice history from another tool. Client lists import from a CSV file.
Who GreenBrain fits today
GreenBrain is best first for owner-operators and small landscaping businesses where the owner runs the office. It is in a free beta, so features and availability can change.
If your business already depends on team logins, texting customers, or an accounting sync, check Jobber’s current plans; GreenBrain doesn’t offer those yet.
